I photographed these vintage Fairchild PT-23 Cornell examples at Oshkosh.
The PT-23 was powered by a radial engine, but was otherwise similar to the original inline-powered PT-19 Cornell. Both had an open cockpit, but the Cornell line continued with a canopy as the PT-26 Cornell.
