I photographed this Japanese Type 97 Machine Gun at the Flying Heritage Collection. This was used just in front of the cockpit of the Mitsubishi A6M Zero while the Type 99 20mm Cannon was used in the wings. A well-decayed example was at the museum at Camp Shelby.
