I photographed these Republic F-84 Thunderjet examples at the Pima Air Museum, Yanks/Chino, Nampa, NMoUSAF and March AFB. The straight wings of the Thunderjet were later redesigned into swept-wing versions as the F84-F Thunderstreak and the RF-84F Thunderflash that had air intakes at the wing root rather than in the nose, resulting in a loss of power but used in a reconnaissance role.

The -G model is packaged with the -C / -D models because it has the straight wing… but the small inlet seen under the cockpit is more similar to the -F models.
