I photographed this BLU-129 Mk 82 500lb bomb at the Air Force Armory Museum at Eglin AFB in Florida. Built to match the weight and characteristics of the standard Mk 82 Bombs, but with a fiberglass body that disintegrates instead of fragmenting, adding explosive force while also limiting collateral damage.
