Here are some photos I took of Grumman F9F Panther examples on display at the Pima Air Museum and at the Planes of Fame museum in Chino. The straight-wing Panther design evolved into a swept-wing version that was the F9F-8 Cougar, becoming the F-9 in the later naming scheme.
