I photographed the 1831 Robert Stephenson & Co. 0-4-0 (later converted to 2-4-0) #1 “John Bull” at the Smithsonian. The John Bull was run by the Smithsonian to celebrate its 150-year anniversary in 1981. This is displayed with a section of the first iron railroad bridge in America.
