I photographed this 1926 ALCO 4-6-2 Ps-4 Light Pacific Southern Railway #1401 at the Smithsonian. This was one of eight engines that hauled the funeral train of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Ps-4s were signified as the First Ladies of the Pacifics, and #1401 is the sole remaining exam0le of the Light Pacific class.
