I photographed this 1938 4-6-2 A4 Class London and North Eastern Railway #4468 “Mallard” at the National Railway Museum in York England. #4468 holds the world speed record for steam locomotives at 125.88 mph, set on 3 July 1938 with the feat recorded in the Dynamometer Car it was pulling during the speed trials.
