I photographed this 1894 Baldwin 2-4-4T (converted from a 0-4-4RT Forney) #3 “Fred Gurley” on the Disney Rail line in California. This is a sister engine to 0-4-4RT Forney #14064 “Elias” at the Orange Empire Train Museum in Perris, Calif.
Fred Gurley was chairman of the ATSF, which sponsored the Disneyland Railroad, and the namesake engine is the oldest piece of operating railroad equipment in any Disney park.
