I photographed this Oshkosh M1245 SOCOM Special Forces vehicle during the Vietnam Veterans honoring ceremony at Fort Lewis in 2014. Based on the OshKosh M1240 MATV, the M1245 is part of the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) program that also included the International/Navistar MaxxPro MRAP
A reinforced tube bumper and FLIR mounts in back are some of the visual cues differing from the standard M1240 version.
