I photographed the Liberty Ship SS Jeremiah O’Brien at San Francisco, Calif. A D-Day veteran, and one of only three remaining Liberty Ships.
There is a rich wartime history for this ship, perhaps topped only by her attendance as the only large ship veteran at the 50th D-Day anniversary.
