I photographed these Beech 55 /56 short-bodied Baron examples at Oshkosh.

This is the short-bodied version of the Beech 58 Baron and also is similar to the Beech 95 Travel Air that has a more upright blunt tail and shorter stubby engine nacelles.

Apparently the “95” designation simply refers to the model series within Beech 55 line.
