I photographed these D-Day Beach Hedgehog examples in Virginia and Wyoming. They were developed in Czechoslovakia and used underwater to damage landing craft during the D-Day invasion. The Army salvaged these and actually used them on tanks to cut through the hedgerows as the Allies advance inland.
