I photographed this Nebelwerfer 41 multiple rocket launcher during a visit to the Rowland Freedom Center in Vacaville, California. The allies dubbed this “Screaming Mimi” and “Moaning Minnie” due to the sound it maid when launching the rockets. Nebelwerfer roughly translates as “Smoke Mortar”
