I photographed these 15cm Nebelwerfer 41 examples at Fort Lee and the Rowland Freedom Center. The allies dubbed this “Screaming Mimi” and “Moaning Minnie” due to the sound it maid when launching the rockets. Nebelwerfer roughly translates as “Smoke Mortar”
The Nebelwerfer 41 had 6 x 15cm rocket tubes and the Nebelwerfer 42 had 5 x 21cm rocket tubes
