I photographed these Maxim MG-08 / Spandau 08/15 Machine Gun 7.92mm examples in Florida, Wyoming, Oregon and England. The deadly MG 08 could fire 450 bullets per minute, and was responsible for more casualties on the battlefield than any other weapon in WWI.

The Swiss manufactured their own MG-11 Maxim Machine Guns after Germany cut off supplies when WWI broke out.
