I photographed these M65 280-mm Nuclear Gun “Atomic Annie” examples at the Yuma Proving Grounds and Fort Lee
The M65’s T131 280mm Gun is scaled up from the T1 240mm Rail Gun Prototype which shares the same T72 carriage. But rather than rail, the larger M65 is transported by two T10 Heavy Gun-lifting Trucks.
Inspired by the German Krupp K5 Railroad Gun and similar to the Model 1895 12-inch Railway Gun displayed elsewhere on base.
