I photographed these Browning M1917 .30-caliber machine gun examples at Dubois, Olympia and the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola.
This was in favor of the Browning M1919 machine gun during WWII.
The one in Olympia had the large round re-filler cannister to resupply the rectangular water boxes.
