I photographed these Grumman F-14 Tomcat examples, including two of the original 12 prototype Tomcats, in Florida, California, South Carolina, Washington, Arizona, Oregon, Alabama and Texas.
The Tomcat displayed in Seattle was used in the film “The Final Countdown” onboard the USS Nimitz. Based on the label given, I suspect the Tomcat in Alabama must have had the TARPS LA-61 Pod installed during its service career.

Some resources have this as originally an F-14A and that it flew TARPS missions.
