I photographed the single-seat F-105 Thunderchief at the Udvar-Hazy facility in Washington DC. During a visit to the Flying Heritage Collection in 2016, I found a two-seat example that they are displaying while it is on loan from the Air Force Museum. It was originally built as an F-105F, but upgraded to F-105G specs to fly Wild Weasel operations. According to the FHC website, it is believed that this aircraft (below) was the last Wild Weasel to leave North Vietnamese airspace on the final night of bombing. The Thud on display at the USS Alabama Memorial is a YF-101B.

I would normally consider this 3/4 fuselage as a “partial” while it was under restoration at the time I saw it in England, but I see that it was later finished and is now on display at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow, Poland.
