Aboard C-17 for HALO Jump Demonstration
Prior to the 2003 Airshow at McChord, I was invited up into the cockpit of a C-17 as we took off on a practice run of the HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) demonstration. My photo of the jumpers leaving the back of the plane was awarded the top feature photo for non-daily newspapers in the state of Washington by the WNPA.
