I photographed a visiting Fairchild OA-10A Thunderbolt II 78-0624 during an airshow at McChord AFB in 2008, and also the very early A-10A that is on display in the base’s collection in 2017. Other examples were at the NMoUSAF, including one numbered “699” in the museum’s restoration hangar.
The performance during the 2024 AirVenture in Oshkosh was billed as the final for the Thunderbolt II demonstration team.
