I photographed these M54 Gun Truck examples in Oshkosh, Dubois and the USS Alabama Memorial in Mobile, Alabama.
The smaller M35 Gun Truck was considered underpowered for the role, while the M54 seemed well-suited to carry the extra weight of armor and sand bags.
