P-36 / Hawk 75 (multiple)

I photographed this Curtiss P-36 Hawk at the NMoUSAF, and the other was delivered to France as the Hawk 75 A-1 at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

Curtiss P-36 38-001

It is the first P-36A to be delivered to the Air Corps and is displayed in the markings of the P-36A 38-086 flown by Lt Phil Rasmussen during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor

Curtiss Hawk 75

IWM Duxford 2008

One of the first 100 delivered to the French in April 1939. It wears French camouflage and is painted with each side of the fuselage representing different periods during its service. Because it was undergoing maintenance, I was only able to shoot the one side.
