I photographed the second of two flags raised by the USMC during the Iwo Jima battle at the Marine Corps Museum; Quantico VA
This was the second flag raising that was captured by photographer Rosenthal on his Speed Graphic Camera. It is considerably larger than the first flag that was raised.
