I photographed this 1944 Pullman Troop Sleeper #7437 at the B&O Rail Museum in Baltimore.
The Pullman Troop Sleepers were essentially modified boxcars with windows and bunks, capable of housing up to 30 soldiers plus one Pullman Porter. Soldiers famously noted they were nearly impossible to sleep in due to the compact arrangement.
