I photographed these Pilatus P2 examples in France, Duxford and Chino.
Unfortunately, the Pilatus P-2-05 I saw in 2008 taxiing before takeoff at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, was destroyed by vandals a few months later on June 1, 2008.
The Swiss trainer, designed in 1942 and arriving toward the end of WWII, can be seen painted as a Luftwaffe aircraft in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
The P-2-05 (Duxford) and P-2-06 (Cerny, Planes of Fame) are similar except the 05 is unarmed.
