I photographed this Nord 1002 Pingouin (the post-war name for the Messerschmitt Bf-108) tucked at the end of the runway at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
The French continued to produce the Bf-108 after the war with their own engines, the civilian version was the Nord 1101 Noralpha and a military version called Ramier.
At the end of the war, the design was adapted to the Messerschmitt Me-208 that used tricycle landing gear and had the cabin enlarged.
