
I photographed these SdKfz 251 Halftrack examples at the IWM Duxford and the NMMV in Dubois WY.
Both of these are actually post WWII Ccech-built OT-810 (made by Praga and Tatra) with about 1,500 vehicles built during years 1958-62. This version had an air-cooled diesel engine and an armored roof over the troop compartment. The vehicle was not liked by those who used it and was nicknamed “Hitler’s revenge”. The last vehicles were removed from Czech Army magazines in 1995.
