Here are some photos I took of the Martin Marietta X-24 Lifting Body examples on display at the NMoUSAF in Dayton, OH.
The bulbous X-24A first flew April 17, 1969. Four years later, the “flying flatiron” X-24B made its first glided flight Aug. 1, 1973, and its first powered flight Nov. 15.
