I photographed the Kremer Prize-winning Gossamer Albatross at the NASM Udvar-Hazy
In 1979, Paul MacCready won his second Kremer Prize for human-powered flight across the English Channel. He had won his first Kremer Prize for the flight of his human-powered Gossamer Condor over a closed circuit course.
There also is the Albatross II backup plane on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
