I photographed the Douglas VC-54C Sacred Cow in the President’s gallery at the National Museum of the USAF.
This was the specially adapted version of the C-54 Skymaster to transport Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt. You can see how his wheelchair was lifted into the plane via an elevator in the rear fuselage.
