Here are some photos I took of the North American T-6D Mosquito examples on display at the NMoUSAF and at the Champaign Air Museum.
During the Korean War and, to a lesser extent, the Vietnam War, these combat versions of the T-6 Texan trainer were pressed into service as forward air control aircraft. These aircraft were designated T-6D “Mosquitos”
