I photographed these M26A1 Tank transporter examples at the National Museum of Military Vehicles near Dubois, Wyoming. The M26 tractor was paired up with the M15 semitrailer to make the M25 system. The M26 was developed specifically for the trailer since there was no tractor that suited the demands.
