I photographed this Chevrolet WB 30 CWT 4×2 LRDG desert truck at the Imperial War Museum London. The Long Range Desert Group was used to gather intelligence behind Italian lines in Egypt, with 35 bought or borrowed trucks fielded by a select team of tough and self-reliant New Zealanders.
