M2 Combat Vehicle Half Track (multiple)

I photographed these M2 Half Track examples in Washington, Florida and California. The M2 was initially intended for use as an artillery tractor by White, Autocar and Diamond T. The design was recognized as having the potential for use by mechanized infantry, which spawned the extended-bodied M3 Half Track.

The Half Tracks are given the -A1 specification when the raised gun position is added over top of the cab.
